Sebewaing Tool and Engineering designs and builds special machinery and tooling for the Petrochemical (plastics), Automotive, and Pipeline (process) industries.

We have decades of successful experience designing and building many large and small machines, from rough sketches to fully developed CAD models, normally starting with a feasibility study of a proposed concept, providing feedback, and proposing improvements and alternatives, when necessary. Once the concept is worked out, and proven to satisfy or exceed extablished criteria and objectives… how will it work, how long will it take to build, etc, we provide you with a detailed quote.

Machine Design

Upon approval of quote, we begin with “Machine Design” which includes 3-D modeling, force calculations, component selection, finalized machine design.

Automation Design

Next step is the “Automation Phase”, where we determine the automation design and strategy, the electrical design, and the operating platform that best serves you. Then we design the programming and operator interface.

Build & Fabrication

Now, it’s on to “Fabrication”, which included structural and mechanical fabrication, electrical wiring, any necessary piping/tubing, instrumentation installation and set-up, component assembly, and finishing.

Design Build Implementation

Then the critical “Start-up and service” step, where we FAT test, train your operators, work out any “punch list” glitches, train your maintenance team, ship, then deliver, set up and integrate. We don’t leave until you are satisfied with training, and all glitches are ironed out.
